How you can resist funding the government → the tax resistance movement → conferences & gatherings → Fall 2009 New England War Tax Resistance regional gathering

In addition to the NWTRCC National Gathering coming up in Cleveland in November, there are two regional war tax resister gatherings coming up:

1. The 24^th Annual New England Gathering of War Tax Resisters and Supporters.
   
   This year’s gathering will be held from October 9^th through the 11^th in Williamsville, Vermont. Registration details at this link.
2. The first South-East gathering of War Tax Resisters.
   
   A weekend of workshops and presentations will be held in coordination with the “Alternative New Year” gathering and vigil near the Kings Bay Trident nuclear submarine base at the Georgia/Florida border, at the beginning of January. For details, contact Clare Hanrahan.

A new issue of More than a paycheck, NWTRCC’s newsletter, is out. Contents include:

• “Relationships: When One is a WTR” — about “mixed marriages” in which one partner is a resister and the other one isn’t, and the challenges this can present. There’s a short bit from me in this article, and a photo of me and my sweetie on the cover.
