A couple of international tax resistance updates:
- Hundreds of vendors at the Wakulima market in Nakuru, Kenya, have been refusing to pay taxes to the county government for the past few days in a tax strike protesting the government’s failure to provide the market the sanitation and sewage services the taxes ostensibly pay for.
- The bonnets rouges have struck again: burning the supports of a highway tax portal in Jugon-les-Lacs and forcing its removal.
