Jim Bouman shares correspondence between him and his son concerning war tax resistance. Jim and his wife have decided to resist their taxes this year in protest against the Iraq war. Their son is skeptical: “Are there any real benefits that come from this decision? I don’t see the benefits outweighing the costs and I think there are more practical ways to voicing your opinion.”
