- I’ve had no luck in verifying this report anywhere else, but according to “The Ethiopian Satellite Television and Radio” site, “residents of Sawla town in Gamu Gufa Zone had burnt down the local tax office in protest against tax hikes. The locals say they would not give their money to a regime that tortures and kills citizens.”
- The Federation of Enterprises of Congo in Mungwalu called a tax strike (coordinated with a two-day business strike) to protest the government’s failure to maintain the roads.
