Carmarthen, — I have just
heard that Rebecca and family mustered about two hundred in the neighbourhood
of Llanbyther and New Inn , and
destroyed Penrallt gate, not far from the latter place, and also another bar.
This renowned lady was, on this occasion, dressed gaily in female attire and
sported a parasol. When the work of demolition was complete, the party
dispersed over the hills and were soon lost sight of.
